Ryan J. Hetzel was born in West Bend, Wisconsin. He graduated from West Bend East High School. He received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He then attended Marquette University Law School where he received his jurist doctorate degree in 1997.
Attorney David A. Nelson was born in Madison, Wisconsin. He graduated from Verona High School, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, and received his JD from Marquette University in 1999.
Attorney Nelson is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Washington County Bar Association, Academy of Trial Lawyers of America, Wisconsin Association of Criminal defense Attorneys and the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers. Attorney David A. Nelson is the Past-President of the Washington County Bar Association, is on the Ethics Committee at Saint Joseph's Hospital and is now serving on the Board of Directors for the Youth & Family Project Inc. serving Washington, Ozaukee, and Waukesha counties.
Attorney Lisa M. Moore was born in Wisconsin, but grew up in California. She moved back to Wisconsin, and attended West Bend West High School. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she received her BA and received her JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2004.
Attorney Moore is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Washington County Bar Association, and Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. She focuses her practice on family law and criminal defense.
Attorney Christy L. Olson was born in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She attended Slinger High School and graduated summa cum laude from Ripon College with majors in business and communication and a minor in German. Christy graduated with honors from Marquette University Law School in 2010. She served as Note & Comment Editor on the Marquette Law Review in 2009-10. She was also a student instructor in the Milwaukee Street Law Project in 2008-09.
Christy is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, Washington County Bar Association, and the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. She focuses her practice on family law, civil litigation and criminal defense.
Christy Olson has been a life-long Washington County resident. She graduated with honors in May 2010 from Marquette Law School. While there, she served as Note & Comment Editor on the Marquette Law Review in 2009-10 and was a law review member in 2008-09. Christy was an instructor for the Milwaukee Street Law Project during her second year and participated in the Restorative Justice Clinic as a third year. In the fall of 2009, Christy was a judicial clerk to Judge Kitty Brennan at the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, District 1. Christy graduated summa cum laude from Ripon College in 2006. There, she majored in communication and business administration with a minor in German. At Hetzel & Nelson, LLC, Christy primarily works in the areas of criminal defense and family law. She is excited to be a part of the Washington County legal community!
